The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

Save the Date - Kindergarten & TK Enrollment!

Save the date - online enrollment for kindergarten and transitional kindergarten (TK) opens on Tuesday, February 3!

If you want your child to attend an ACUSD elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year, you must enroll your child online through the Aeries platform.
Here is what you'll need to do:
1. Find out which school your child will attend based on your home address, using our address lookup tool.
2. Go to the online enrollment portal and follow the steps listed.
3. If you have any questions, please contact our Child Development department at (209) 257-5338

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. 

ACOE Open Session will begin at 5:30 pm.
ACUSD Open Session will begin at 7:00 pm.

Business Office Staff Member Recognized with Challenge Coin

At last week's board meeting, the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Robert Norton, recognized Amy Martz with an ACUSD Challenge Coin. Thank you, Amy, for all your hard work in the Business Office!

North Star Academy Students see Broadway Show

North Star Academy students and staff had an unforgettable night at The Lion King in Sacramento last week. For many students, this was their very first Broadway show, and they had the rare opportunity to enjoy it from front-row seats! Thanks to Proposition 28 arts funding, students were able to attend this incredible performance, and it was truly enjoyed by all.
