The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

The non-competitive walk is at 9:15 a.m. and the open walk at 9:30 a.m. The run is at 10 a.m.

Ribbons and shirts go to all participants. Awards go to the winners of the open walk and female and male winners of the run. In addition, awards go to the winners of the 10-year age divisions of the run.

Early registration is $25, closing Friday, October 24. Race-day registration is $30. Entry forms are available by contacting Amador High Performing Arts, 330 Spanish Street, Sutter Creek, CA 95685, gturner@acusd.org or 209-257-7329.

The parents at Pine Grove Elementary School are hosting a dinner and auction to raise money for this year's 6th graders to attend science camp in January.

Location: American Legion Post 108 - 11401 American Legion Dr., Jackson, CA

Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for kids ages 6-12. To purchase tickets, visit the Pine Grove Elementary office or submit payment on Venmo.

Applications for the 2024 Angel Tree program are currently open! This program is available for eligible Amador County children ages 0-17. 

Please fill out the application form and submit it to Nexus Youth & Family Services no later than November 14th, 2024. Applications are attached to this message and are available in both English and Spanish. Drop off or mail the application to one of the community centers listed on the application or to the Nexus main office, located at 601 Court St., Suite 205, Jackson, CA 95642.
